This project began with a unique program: we needed to design a building that would be home to a commercial bike shop, future automotive shop, industrial-style kitchen, and a young family, all under one roof. The result was a net-zero home with a high-performance building envelope, tall ceilings, and bedrooms high above the surrounding farmland with views to Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.
